Description
The Embedded Ethics Education Initiative (E3I) is a collaborative project at the University of Toronto between the Department of Computer Science and the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society that aims to incorporate concepts and skills from ethics across the computing curriculum. The E3I website serves as a way to deliver modules based around embedding ethics in computer science.
E3I offers modules in various and interesting topics such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, software accessibility, and AI ethics.
Contributions
I was responsible for building the website using Pelican and Jinja templating. I also set up CI/CD using GitHub actions.
In terms of design, I designed the E3I branding, the site's theme and design system, and implemented all the designs in code. I also wrote documentation for maintaining and updating the site's content, its CI/CD, its frontend, and its architecture.
